About the Training
What courses are offered at Bromsgrove Beauty Training Academy?
We provide a range of beauty courses including nails, brows, lashes, facials, and waxing.
Who delivers the training?
All courses are taught by Alicia, salon owner of The House of Beauty Bromsgrove and qualified beauty educator with industry experience since 2014.
Is the academy linked to a real salon?
Yes, training is delivered from The House of Beauty Bromsgrove, an established working salon.
Are courses accredited or insurable?
Yes, all courses are ABT accredited, enabling you to obtain insurance to work with the public.
What is included in the course fee?
All training time, tutor support, models, equipment and materials.. so you can focus on learning.
What should I wear to training?
Please wear black, smart-casual attire for salon etiquette. Opt for flat shoes and keep your hair tied back for hygiene purposes.
Do I get a certificate on the day or afterwards?
Yes, a certificate will be issued for all completed courses, either on the day of completion or via email, depending on the course.
Course Booking & Payments
How do I book a course?
When you’re ready to book, please send us a message through our ‘Contact’ page. Let us know which course you’re interested in, and we will respond promptly with available training dates.
Do you require a deposit?
If your training course is less than 4 weeks away, full payment is required at the time of booking. Otherwise, full payment must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the start of your training course.
Do you offer payment plans?
All courses can be paid by card, bank transfer, or Clearpay. Clearpay payment options are shown on your invoice. Approval for Clearpay financing is subject to Clearpay’s discretion.
Entry Requirements
Do I need previous experience?
Each training course has specific entry requirements, which can be found on its individual course page. Most of our courses are designed for beginners with no prior experience.
Is there a minimum age to train?
Yes, all students are required to be at least 18 years old to train with us.
Models & Practical Work
Do I need to bring a model?
All models are provided for you. If you prefer to provide your own models, that’s perfectly fine, just let us know when you make your booking.
Will I be working on real clients?
Yes, all training courses involve working with real clients. This hands-on experience builds your skills and confidence, preparing you for your very first client when you start your beauty career.
Aftercare & Support
Will I receive ongoing support after training?
Absolutely. Once you complete the course, you’ll receive ongoing support for any questions or guidance as you continue to develop your skills. Whether you need advice on techniques, products, or client care, I’m here to ensure you feel confident and supported long after the training day ends.
Do you offer refresher training or 1:1 mentoring?
Yes, we offer Masterclasses as well as refresher training. Please contact us for more details.
Policies & Cancellations
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any rescheduling or cancellations. If you provide notice more than 48 hours in advance, all courses can be transferred without penalty. For cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the training course fee will be forfeited, and you will be required to pay 50% of the course fee again to reschedule.
Are payments refundable?
Cancellations made with less than 4 weeks’ notice are non-refundable. However, if notice is given more than 48 hours in advance (as explained above), course payments can be transferred to a new date.
What happens if the academy needs to reschedule a course?
If the academy needs to cancel the training, we will reschedule you for another session as soon as possible. Our goal is to have you rebooked and attending within 4 weeks.

Where is the academy located?
The Academy is situated within The Beauty Collective, alongside The House of Beauty Bromsgrove. You can find our academy address on the Contact page.
Is parking available?
A long-stay pay and display car park is available on Stourbridge Road, next to the car wash. Please ensure you purchase a ticket for the full duration of your stay. Carpark post code: B61 0AB.
What time should I arrive?
All courses run from 9:00 AM to 3-4:00 PM. Please arrive by 8:55 AM for a prompt 9:00 AM start.
